It all started over a decade ago when my logo design was chosen to represent the Technical Arts Academy at my high school — and that’s when I fell in love with design. Over the years, I shifted gears from print to web design. My passion for visual arts and development would converge, and I would then major in web design and development. I have since worked as a designer and developer on many web and print-based projects for a range of clients across the globe.
Writing code is fun, and now I spend the day making creative businesses look amazing online. I'm a member of the AIGA and Squarespace Circle, I built Unraveled Academy, an online school for photographers, and I design and distribute a quarterly magazine for a non-profit for autism, Spectrum Inspired. When I’m not designing or writing lines of code, you can find me doing life with my son and our rescue pup, Jax.
My Core Values
I work almost around the clock Monday through Friday. Don’t ask me to work on the weekends, and I won’t ask you to do so either. I love my job, but at the end of the day, it’s just a job I do to create a better life for my family. I’m a mother first, and a web developer second. We will get along very well if you have a life outside of work too.
When we're both up-front about our goals and expectations, everybody wins. I'm very transparent in my business and give it to you straightforward. So, let’s stay in touch often and be realistic about our objectives. If you are clear in your communication and organization, our partnership will go far.
Be kind. That's all.
